Announcements, new dates and this week’s shows at the Ridgefield Playhouse


Today The Ridgefield Gambling House Prog-heralded pioneers Renaissance will be back on stage on Friday, October 28. The Legacy Tour 2022 will also be a celebration of 75 years of the incredible voice of Annie Haslam! The band’s rich history dates back to 1969 and spans many decades and many genres, from folk to rock to full-scale symphonic collaboration.

Some events have been given new dates:

The Boomers Musical was moved to Sunday, October 9 at 4 p.m. For customers with tickets for the previous date, tickets will be honored for the new date. Come see the hilarious musical revue where a “hunk” of fun-loving middle-aged men realize the best way to deal with aging is to laugh it off with your friends!

Two screenings of PRPAC Gallery Large Series of Film Artwork were moved:

Botticelli: Florence and the Medici is now on Tuesday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m.. Travel to the heart of the Renaissance in Florence with Botticelli.

Venice: infinitely avant-garde is now onTuesday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. A tour of the magic city presents masterpieces by Tiepolo, Canaletto, Rosalba Carriera and the intellectuals who fell in love with Venice: from Canova to Goethe, Lord Byron to Walter Scott, to the great Hollywood stars attracted by its Annual film festival.

And coming this week, there’s no shortage of shows everyone can enjoy:

On Thursday April 14for the first time in Connecticut, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Marky Ramone brought “My Ramone Life” for The Ridgefield Gambling House arrange. The Ramones changed the world, and now the last surviving Ramone is here to tell the tale! To fully live the Ramone experience, join the meet and greet! Get your photo taken with a rock legend and bring your favorite memorabilia to get signed (1 per customer).

Head to Bareburger Ridgefield for dinner the night of the show and enjoy a glass of house wine or draft beer with your admission when you present your ticket!

Make your Friday night An evening with addicted cowboys on Friday April 15 at 8 p.m.! For more than 30 years, Addicted to cowboys combined folk, blues and rock with the quiet intensity that is their musical signature on more than two dozen critically acclaimed albums, including their 1988 breakthrough, The Trinity Session. Along with the tracks “Sweet Jane”, “Blue Moon Revisited” and “Misguided Angel”, The Trinity Session is considered a seminal record that helped define the alt-country movement and influenced a generation of musicians.

In addition to logging 13 seasons as an original cast member of Bravo’s hit TV show “The Real Housewives of New York,” Luann de Lesseps has new music to add to her worldwide dance hits, including “Money Can’t Buy You Class”. “, “Chic C’est La Vie” and “Girl Code”, among others.
