Born in Hammersmith, West London, Arlo Parks was discovered by Ali Raymond of Beatnik Creative who eventually became her manager. On January 29, 2021, she released her first album Collapsed in the rays of the sun who was appointed to Grammys in the Best Alternative Music Album category in 2022.

Arlo Parks kicked off their Collapsed In Sunbeams tour last night at Laval, Quebec opening for Florence + The Machine. Performing at the start of her set “Caroline” and “Bluish,” after which she introduced herself in French, “It’s a pleasure to open for Florence + The Machine,” she said. Arlo delivered beautiful vocals accompanied by a 4-piece band playing jazzy tunes. Her growth as an artist over the past few years has been impressive as she recently opened for Billie Eilish and Harry Styles in the UK and garnering countless nominations for his work. The 22-year-old ended her set with her heartfelt song “Hope” singing the lines “You’re not alone/As you think you are/We all have scars/I know it’s hard/ You’re Not Alone” followed by her latest single “Softly” joined by the crowd waving their arms from left to right in time to the song.
